ThermConX Range

ThermConX are the original, innovative, structural thermal break connections. They allow the large majority of external attachments to be secured back to the structure of the building without creating a cold bridge.

 

Applications for ThermConX range from support for Brise Soleil, Canopy and Balcony systems, to signage, staircases and roof pearlings.

 

ThermCon Tang thermal break connections allow external items to be attached back to the structure of the building through SIP cladding systems such as Kingspan or Parklex without creating a cold bridge.

 

ThermCon Tang connections afford the opportunity for the size of the blade section to be specified to meet customers' individual requirements.

 

ThermConX Lo-Loader thermal break connections are specifically designed to give structural support for applications where lower loading capacities are required.

 

Typical ThermConX lo-loader applications include items such as balustrade posts, where there is a requirement to bridge an insulated cavity of up to 300mm without creating a cold bridge.

 

ThermCon Mullion thermal break connections are tall and slim thermal break connections designed to be able to mount inside the transom or mullion of facade/cutain walling systems.

 

ThermCon Mullion connections enable surface mounted items such as canopies, signage and brise soleil systems to be discreetly connected back to the structure of the building, without creating a cold bridge.

 

ThermConXL thermal break connections are robust, heavy duty thermal break connections, specifically designed to secure extreme loadings back to the structure of the building without creating a cold bridge.

 

Some examples of where ThermConXL connections may be used are, as foot plates at the base of columns, support for large cantilevered walkway systems, roof supports etc.

 

ThermCon Insulated Anchors thermal break connections allow a single point connection on the outer face of the building envelope to be fixed back through the insulating cavity to the structure of the building without creating a cold bridge.

 

Common applications for this include signage and stainless steel tie rods.

 

ThermConX Green Beams are sections of thermally broken channel available in lengths of up to several metres.

 

There are two types of green beam currently available. The first is a metal to metal green beam suited to supporting higher loadings, while the second is a "lo-loader" green beam suited to less substantial loadings.

 

 

The ThermconX Isowarm is a concrete to concrete thermal break connection.

 

It is designed specifically to eliminate cold bridging between the concrete floor slab and the balcony floor slab, and as such has numerous applicatons in concrete framed buildings
